Summary: This place was perfect. We wanted a not so expensive room for an overnight stay. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very satisfying and not at all costly. The beach is across the street and souvenir shopping was a short walk. Just be careful crossing the street.

Summary: The staff was super friendly and helpful!! The music from the bar next to the hotel sounded like it was in the room and didn’t end until 4 am.

Summary: My stay (6 days) was great. My room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff is mostly friendly and helpful. I loved the beach across the street. Restaurant suggestion: have a printed ( instead of verbal ) menu.

Summary: Staff and security were pleasant but the room was very dated and was not the picture reflected on Expedia. I paid extra for the room I thought I was getting but got something different.

Summary: The hotel has no elevator. I thought the clerk would try and give me a first floor room, seeing I am a senior citizen. . She would not even entertain the idea. Just a rough “I can’t change your room”. I was stuck on the third floor climbing stairs regularly in the hot foyer that had no AC. The first morning I had to walk quite a distance to another hotel to get breakfast. Some of Altamont kitchen staff was very impolite.
